It is okay to be afraid.
Panic attacks are short lived but crippling. In the middle of one You feel fear, anxiety and helplessness. Your heart pounds, your breathing goes shallow and sweat builds on your forehead, back and armpits, soon to soak your shirt. Your self-image plummets.
While this is happening You know people are staring at you. You know they are judging you. You they are saying “That person is a loser.”
After a panic attack, it takes days to recover. The anxiety lingers and You feel weak. The self-loathing doesn’t go quietly. You are fragile and alone.
But don’t be upset. You are still a beautiful person with a gifted soul.
Beautiful people with a beautiful mind.
